Chocolate Fudge Oatmeal Cookies
This amazing recipe for unique chocolate fudge oatmeal cookies will have your family and friends doing somersaults! The taste is closer to a candy than a cookie, very rich and filling. All the mess and none of the baking with these tasty oatmeal coolies, only joking, you never make a mess baking right?
Here is what you need for one batch of chocolate fudge oatmeal cookies, about 4 dozen medium size cookies:
2 cups sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa
½ cup milk
½ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups old-fashioned oats
Cover baking sheet with parchment paper.
In Dutch oven, combine sugar, cocoa, milk and butter.
Bring to a boil.
Boil 1 minute; remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
Stir in oats.
Drop by teaspoonful’s into baking sheets, placing 2 inches apart.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Remove from paper and eat!
